Terms and Conditions of Business
ENTIRE AGREEMENT
Upon payment of our fees, these terms as amended from time to time, shall represent the entirety of the agreement between you and us.
ATTENDING CLASSES
For the benefit of all, and to comply with legislation, our premises are a non-smoking area. If you wish to smoke you may do so outdoors at the side of the building.
If you are unable to attend your booked class due to circumstances beyond your control, it may be possible for you to occasionally attend a different class. However, please consult us before doing so. We cannot guarantee to find you a suitable make-up class.
Towards the end of each 8-week course, you will receive notification via email to enrol for the following course if you wish to continue.
Current students will be given priority for the next course subject to availability.
MEDICAL INFORMATION / SPECIAL NEEDS
Any medical conditions peoples may have that could affect their or fellow students’ health during the classes, or any special needs required must be fully disclosed at the time of booking.
PERSONAL PROPERTY
We cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to any personal belongings whilst attending Enso-Art workshops or events.
LIABILITY
No liability will be accepted by Enso-Art for accidents, illness or injury that may occur while attending our classes and workshops.
FILM/PHOTOGRAPHY
From time to time we take photos of students and artworks during class sessions. These photos are used for reference during future lessons, and in some cases for Enso-Art promotional purposes such as posters, social media, and our website. These photos will never be sold and will be used exclusively by and for Enso-Art.
As a Condition of enrolment your consent is implied. Should you not wish for us to take and use photos of you or your artwork please notify us in writing at the time of booking your classes.
PAYMENT
Places are confirmed upon full and upfront payment of the fees using the online booking system on our website.
CANCELLATIONS (Entire Course)
If we cancel – If we have to cancel your course before it starts, we will refund your fee in full. In the event of cancellation for whatever reason, any liability shall be limited to the refund of fees to those booked on to the course concerned. No liability shall be held to any other party or for any other costs incurred by the participant.
Workshops are subject to cancellation if the minimum number of attendees is not met.
In the event of cancellation, attendees will whenever possible, be notified at least two weeks in advance.
If course cancelled in the first half of the term, alternative class times will be provided where possible, or the remaining lessons will be refunded.
If course cancelled in the second half of the term, alternative class times will be provided.
If you cancel – If cancellation is requested by you within 14 days after making your booking, you are entitled to a full refund with the condition that the cancellation occurs at least 4 weeks prior to the start of the course.
Refunds outside the conditions detailed above are only considered in mitigating circumstances, and are subject to our discretion.
MISSED CLASSES
We do understand that life doesn’t always go according to plan and if something unexpected does happen that means you are not able to attend a class/workshop, please let us know as soon as possible and we will try our best to find a suitable replacement for you
Ideally we require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice by e-mail.
The missed lesson will be recorded and provided to you.
In cases where the student has opted for hired equipment (i.e. not able to paint at home), on request a summary lesson (which may run in parallel to other classes) can be provided prior to the next scheduled lesson.
In the event that a class/workshop is cancelled due to unavailability of the instructor, a replacement class shall be scheduled on a case-by-case basis.
In the unfortunate event of illness/ unforeseen circumstances forcing class cancellation, we will attempt to give at least 24hrs notice.
GIFT VOUCHERS
Gift vouchers purchased through our website are single use and have an expiry date of 12 months from the date of issue.
Gift vouchers are not transferable for cash and once issued cannot be refunded other than within the 14 day cancellation period with the condition that the cancellation occurs at least 4 weeks prior to the start of the course if the course has been booked.
Gift vouchers may be used towards class fees or art supplies.
Gift vouchers shall be e-mailed to the address provided at point of purchase.
In the unlikely event that a course needs to be cancelled in line with the cancellation policy detailed above, a new gift voucher will be issued and shall be valid for a further 12 months.
REFRESHMENTS
Drinks/snacks provided during breaks will be provided in good faith and the ingredients will be displayed on the packaging for allergy purposes.
Enso-Art does not accept any liability with regards to the dietary suitability of the refreshments for individuals.
GOOD CONDUCT
We politely ask all pupils to be courteous and considerate to fellow classmates as we all progress at different rates.
DISCOUNTS AND OFFERS
Any discounts and/or offers by Enso-Art are subject to availability and may have individual terms and conditions applied.
GENERAL
Courses purchased as gifts are subject to the same Terms & Conditions.
Courses purchased at a discount are subject to the same Terms & Conditions
