Is this course suitable for beginners?
The courses have been designed to benefit beginner, intermediate, pre-advanced, and advanced levels according to the workshops/classes you attend.
What if I can't draw very well?
You don’t need to know how to draw at all. Reference pictures are provided for every lesson. Simply use the tracing technique taught in the course to transfer the picture to your watercolour paper.
Is this course suitable for intermediate level?
Yes. I have selected reference pictures enabling students at various levels to utilise their existing skills and develop more advanced techniques.

Do you offer lessons to those who join on the second or third week of a course?
This can be discussed on a case-by-case basis.
What is the minimum age?
Generally most students will be above 16 years old. 14 to 16 year olds can attend as groups of no less than 3 people.

What happens if I have to miss a class?
Please see the ‘Terms & Conditions‘ page. As long as sufficient notice is provided, and the student does not miss more than one session at any one time, we can arrange for them to join another class who are at the same stage. For students missing more than one class in a row we will discuss on a case-by-case basis.

Do I need to provide my own equipment?
In summary you have the option to purchase your own equipment, or we can provide all you need for the 8-week course. Please see ‘Equipment‘ page for details.
