For pupils who prefer to purchase their own materials we have provided a list below.

This is an option for pupils who do not wish to invest in paint tubes.

Mijello Mission Gold – Watercolour Palette 36

The palette of 36 colour tablets can be sourced from main art equipment retailers.

Pro Arte is the brand we recommend at this stage as it is value for money.

Round	Sablene set – 0, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 (larger brushes are a nice to have)
Flat	Prolene – 1/2″
Hake	Ron Ranson – Medium size
Rigger	Prolene – 2
Dagger	Master Stroke – 1/4″ and 1/2″
Sword	Series 9A – Medium size

Watercolour Paper – 4 x 1/4 sheets (1/4 sheet is 28×38 cm) – Cold Press (NOT) 300g/m² – 140lb (Archers, or Windsor & Newton recommended)
1 x Watercolour Pallet (Mijello Watercolour Pallet Airtight Double Decker recommended)

A wooden board to support your paper (40x50cm approx., or 50x70cm if used with 1/2 sheet paper)
Gummed Tape (Water activated)
1 x Sponge
1 x Jar Masking Fluid. (SAA recommended)
1 x Ruling Pen (Artcoe recommended)
1 x role of Masking Tape

On request we are able to provide all required equipment for the eight-week course at a fixed cost of £50.

The equipment will be on a loan basis and must be left on site for use by other Artists.

The student paintings of course can be either left on site or taken home.
